OK, I haven't collected the ideas and put them out there for a vote yet, but I've decided what the topic should be for the first month's Collective Genius.
It's graduation time and all across the world young people are trying to figure out, "OK, what now?" I posted my standard advice for new graduates here. What is yours? What do you wish you knew then that you know now? What have you learned about career? About goals? Achieving success? Happiness?
What have you learned along the way? If it somehow relates to new graduates / careers / happiness / success / etc. / etc. / etc., please add it to the Collective Genius!
Here's how it works. If you want to post something, e-mail me and I will send you an invitation to be a guest author on the Collective Genius blog. Then you can sign in and post your insights, ideas, and inspiration (or even something starting with some letter other than "i"). You'll be able to include a link to your own website or blog within your post if you want to.
As I mentioned before, the Collective Genius blog will focus on a different career-related topic each month (with a passion spin, of course). Starting the first Monday of each month, it will be open for posting for one week. The first round will start Monday, June 5th (so e-mail me to become a guest author any time before then, but please don't post until the 5th).
I'm convinced that the collective wealth of insights out there is exponentially greater than anything I could offer on my own. I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to share!
