“Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.”
- Winnie the Pooh
Sometimes simple wisdom is the best wisdom. Stop a minute and ponder, "How does this apply to my life?"

That sounds like having a couple of drinks or tokes and thinking you have seen eternity. Until it wears off.
I think it's possible to live like this all the time but it takes a lot more work than staring at the river on your lunch break.

Ahhhh...but so many people never stop to do this even on occasion. They get so wrapped up in the busyness of life, that they don't stop to breathe in and experience the river slipping by. And so they forget how important it can be.
I'm not talking about living your life there. Would it be great? Sure. Is it possible? I'm sure it is. Is it probably in the immediate future for most of us. Almost assuredly not.
What is possible and probable is stopping to ponder the river, heaving a big contented sigh and saying, "Oh yeah."
And then doing it again later. And again. And again...

This reminds me of Martial arts expert Bruce Lee's wisdom:-
Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash! Be water my friend.
