Max Leibman

Right on.

In my last job before going full-bore on career counseling, I was a manager in a grocery store. A man named Joe on our stocking crew was chronically complaining: "Hasn't anyone started aisle 6 yet? Man, who ordered this stuff?" and ALWAYS, "We're NEVER going to get done."

As I said to him, time and again, the people who complain that they'll never do something are generally right--they're the ones who will never do it. Complaining is not merely a waste of time--it's also counter-productive, empowering obstacles all around.

This may be a corallary to this but it has it's own wisdom. It's worthwhile to remeember, there is no gravity - Earth sucks! However it's all we have!
