The most recent issue of Worthwhile magazine is out, and I have another article in it, which you can read here (pdf file). It's about Christine Clifford, founder of the company The Cancer Club. I love her story - please pass it on to anyone you think might find it inspiring.

Wonderful article Curt! So many things come to mind ... (a) Worthwhile magazine is great. I've really enjoyed their first two issues. Thanks for the heads up about the new issue being out. I checked Friday at my local Barnes & Noble and they still had the old one up; (b) I have a friend who had multiple myeloma at age 48, had a stem-cell transplant, and now coaches people through cancer. She will want to know about Christine and the Cancer Club; (c) I just discovered a small lump in my breast this past Friday ... also just a self-exam. A mammogram two months ago didn't pick up anything. I have a doctor's appt. Friday and will most certainly keep Christine's experience in mind while keeping my fingers crossed. I've always said I didn't want to wait for a 'cancer scare' to live the life I want to live, and luckily, I've been doing that the past five years in my own business, but reading a story like Christine's always brings home how precious and fleeting life can be.
