Wow, this is a timely post! I've been out of work for 6 months and have had 2 recent interviews where I did not get the job. I feel like I'm on a bit of a losing streak and have lost a little confidence in myself. The key, I think, is not to let someone else's judgement of me effect my judgement of me. Thanks again!

One suggestion: Write yourself a letter including all your doubts and fears. Take your time and be specific. Include as much detail as possible. Then reply to yourself. List your strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Suggest ways you can achieve incremental success.

Repeat.

Alternative suggestion: Address the first letter to someone you admire and trust--someone whose opinion you value greatly.

If you do not want to actually send this letter to your chosen individual, don't, but do craft a reply as you would imagine your confidant would.

Again, repeat.
