My other blog - so peer pressure me already! ;)

For over a year I have posted to this blog at least six times a week. Overall, it has been easy to maintain the consistency.

I have another blog, Alternative Energy ~ Renewable Energy, that isn't faring quite so well. I go in fits and starts, posting actively at times and then disappearing altogether for weeks at a time.

I started it to help educate myself on alternative energy. I found that I had lots of opinions, but very little actual knowledge to back those opinions up. So I started a blog as a place to focus my information gathering.

It's an important topic, and one that is only going to get more so in the future. The more people who have an understanding of the issues involved, the options, and the challenges, the better.

So I'm asking you to peer pressure me. If you find the subject matter interesting, and you find the content worth reading, please visit the blog on a regular (or semi-regular) basis. If I know people are visiting, I feel more obligated to keep up the posting. And that's precisely what I want to do.

Hi Curt,

Well maybe we can peer pressure eachother! I've started the Hydrogen blog over on http://www.zylstra.org/wordpress/ to gather info on how to switch away from oil. I also involved my friend Siert, who works in the oil business, and shares the same interest. We turned it into a groupblog to bring more of a conversational element into it. Maybe we can do the same between our blogs.
