Dream big - setting and achieving outrageous goals
I've talked here before about the benefits of setting outrageous goals, goals that are so big you really have a hard time even believing that they could really be achieved. It's a great exercise for expanding your horizons.
Here's an article that offers an idea for how to move toward making those outrageous goals reality. It suggests:
On a piece of paper, write the heading, "Know I Can." Under the heading, write down three goals you are confident you can accomplish, and probably will, within a matter of time. Below that section write, "Maybe I Can." Then number 4 through 6, and write down three projects you would like to do, but wonder if you really can. These are the dreams that stretch you beyond your current boundaries, but seem within the realm of possibility. Finally, write the heading, "Outrageous," and for numbers 7 through 9, record the three most outlandish visions you can think of, the dreams that thrill you to consider, but you don't see how they could possibly happen. The second part of the exercise requires that you read your list daily, spending about twenty seconds visualizing each goal (sixty seconds if you are inspired). Hold each image clearly in mind, and get the feeling that your objective has already been realized.
Nice tool to keep the ideas on your radar screen, but here's the cool part of it...
The exercise becomes even more fun as you check off each goal when it is accomplished. Your visioning will be met with miracles and support from the universe through avenues you could never have predicted. As you complete checking off the first group, the second group will slide up to a higher level of possibility; the "Maybe I Can" section will become the "Know I Can." Your excitement will further increase when the third group ascends to become the second; somehow the "Outrageous" becomes "Maybe I Can," and before too long, "Know I Can." Then you can add more to your "Maybe I Can" and "Outrageous" lists and watch them slide up like credits rolling at the end of a movie.
I'll have to try that myself!

wow--that's fantastic!

Dear Sir,
Do you know of any way you can help me get a big push to make my dream happen?
I've been thinking lately about 3D virtual reality movies. I've found some eyeglasses that are called 3D shutter glasses. I found them online but haven't bought them yet.
I understand they are suposed to make movies that are in 3D format look as if you were watching them on an IMAX theater screen. I have a bunch of Christian DVds, but I don't know if any of them are in 3D format.
MOstly what I've seen in the line of 3D DVDs is horror movies. I wish movies like Left Behind and other Christian movies were put into that format so they'd work with the eyeglasses. They would be powerful witnessing tools if they were done like this. They're already powerful but they would be more so in that case!
So I want you if at all possible to help me get the word out to Christians all over America about the importance of using this technology for the Lord and not letting the world take it.
help me to encourage Christians to encourage Christian movie makers to make allot of movies in that format. Maybe if we could get allot of Christians to see the value of putting such movies as "The Passion of the Christ" into that format, maybe we could see that movie put into that format for example, and it could have a far greater impact than it already has because people would see themselves as if they were involved in the action of that movie, and we were in a way!
