Check out this big court win from March 23. a federal judge threw out 5 illegal mountiantop removal mining permits approved by the US Army Corps of Engineers. This puts in serious doubt the Corps' ability to grant the more than 60 pending permits for MTR mining in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I love this type of tip-- doesn't require any major costs or sacrifices, just common sense and being in tune with the earth, nice one.
